This Jet Could Take You From New York to London in 11 Minutes

As the age of supersonic travel fast approaches, there is yet another concept aircraft that promises to go from New York to London in an unbelievable 11 minutes.

Called the Antipode, it would be powered by rocket boosters on its wings for takeoff and climb to 40,000 feet at Mach 5.

The acceleration boosters would then separate from the Antipode and fly back to the air base by themselves. If that’s not impressive enough, the Antipode pilot would then ignite its supersonic engines to hit Mach 24 – or speeds of 12,427 miles an hour, reports Forbes.  

The jet would be powered by liquid oxygen or kerosene rockets and in theory, it could carry up to 10 passengers.

Its designers say it would take a mere 11 minutes to fly from New York to London, 24 minutes to travel from New York to Shanghai and 32 minutes to get from New York to Sydney.

The industrial engineer behind the Antipode is Charles Bombardier, who designed another high-speed aircraft called the Skreemr jet – which was unveiled in October and claims to travel from London to New York in a half an hour.

Bombardier worked on the Antipode design in collaboration with Lunatic Koncepts founder Abhishek Roy.

To achieve speeds past Mach 5, the engineers had to solve the problem of extreme heat from air friction and the massive sonic boom it would create over land. Objects traveling at that speed can reach upwards of 170 F, and there are few materials that can sustain those temperatures.

To combat these effects, the hypersonic jet would use an aerodynamic technique called long penetration mode (LPM) that would channel air flowing over the aircraft, cooling it down and helping to muffle the noise as it breaks the sound barrier.

“I wanted to create an aircraft concept capable of reaching its antipode — or diametrical opposite — as fast as possible,” Bombardier told Forbes.

Right now the design is just that—a design.  But Bombardier hopes the aircraft could be used for military or business travelers.  Let’s hope it comes with a frequent flier program, because the costs will be out of this world.

Do some researches where ever your destination is. Look for a good hotel from any website like Agoda, Booking.com or TripAdvisor. Search for a place where the area is safe from reviews. Always read others review before you make any bookings for a hotel. Contact those hotels and inquire about how safe is that hotel to avoid any difficulties.

So I went this resort with my husband for a weekend and I almost felt like as my home land when I came to this resort.

So I went to this Island near capital city with my family to enjoy our EID holidays. 

Eid is a muslim festival that all of us enjoy every year. Thaara and Baandyia, traditional Maldivian music and dance, were the main part of Eid. Women performs Baandyia; they will dance with pots called bandias in Dhivehi, the Maldivian language and will play on them. Men will play drum, sing and dance; Thaara means tambourine in Dhivehi.

Dream do come true

So after exploring whole Istanbul we flew to Alacati. The whole place have a very old french look which is the most beautiful thing and I love it. After around 3 hour drive we reached home. This was the most annoying thing I faced in the whole trip. The traveling time, it take 3 to 4 hrs to reach anywhere in there. We were grown up in a small country and in here it take just 10 to 15 mins to reach anywhere. That's why I was very tired, however we always enjoy inside of the van that we traveled like singing song, bitching and telling jokes and all.

When I reached hotel I was tired as hell, I wanted to go and rest immediately. I saw this beautiful hotel and it was like my all tiredness has gone.

Hotel was not that big but very beautiful and flowers everywhere. One thing I liked most was the roads were so quite and so peaceful my heart almost fell in Love with this place. I wanted to live here and don't come back to my country, because my country is always full of pollutions and it is not peaceful at all.

Trip to turkey

For the first time EVER I went to a Europe country and yes it is one of the most amazing and beautiful country ISTANBUL, Turkey.

When I grew up, I always wanted to travel the world and explore nature. Traveling life is always what I wanted, But always due to some circumstance this was not possible. And after getting married I was not hoping that one day this could also happen, but guess what me and my husband have same dreams to travel the world. So we worked hard to get it.

Ok! Not only me and my husband went to turkey. We went with a group that includes my cousins and friends of my cousins. Without them I don't think this trip will be even possible, because it is not very expensive as we go with a group. First I thought this will be not enjoyable because I don't know their friends personally. So I was very quite until I reach there. My husband too.
